Which are the brightest trends for the Spring / Summer 2021 season?
The new practice of working from home certainly has an impact on what designers create. How else can we explain their decision to impose bralettes and maximally cut clothes for our spring wardrobe? Far from the impulse of lingerie as basic clothing comes comfort: loose-fitting trousers are made for ladies with a determined and wide stride, fluttering, transparent maxi dresses promise an easier life, and women's ensembles resembling sports teams look adequate and current.
Then another type of ingenuity emerges: many designers choose to attack the top with avant-garde fabrics and clever patchwork patches to keep the focus on 2020, questioning customers' consumer habits. And for those looking for a more direct approach to fashion, the black and white range is back.
But what if we are one of the millions who are looking for a guaranteed mood boost? There will always be sequins! The designers are determined to dress the customers locked in their homes in outfits, which will turn the living room into a disco. That's right, we just finished the video conferences and emails, we want to go out dressed in those crazy Bottega Veneta dresses, move the lovely chains on the mini bags with the Chanel logo and walk down the street, strewn with great beads by Miu Miu. We do all this, but at home...
Cheerful stripes, unusual cuts and sexy corsets are what will delight us at least until September. Now let’s take our eyes off the catwalk and back on everyday life as we know it. It's time to play with the S/S’21 trends! Here are some of our carefully selected suggestions from our partner independent Italian designers. Everything is with the prestigious ‘’Made in Italy’’ label and oozes high quality and class! Are you ready?!
