It is the policy of »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓ to comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which states, “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance."
Under Title IX, discrimination on the basis of sex includes sexual harassment and sexual violence, such as rape, sexual assault, sexual battery and sexual coercion.
»¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓ has a Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Coordinators assigned to comply with the “Governing Law” and to respond to inquiries concerning Title IX.
