On Friday, August 5, »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓ hosted the grand opening/ribbon cutting/open house of The Villas at »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓ(2005 Magnolia Street). The Villas at »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓare rental units for faculty and staff at »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓ- a great addition to the Orangeburg community. The renovation of these units began in November 2021 and was completed in July 2022.
The Villas at »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓcomprise nine apartment units. Each apartment has two bedrooms, one full/and one-half bathroom,a microwave, refrigerator, oven, and washer/dryer. Other amenities include free internet and a security alarm. The Villas at »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓexpands affordable housing opportunities for University faculty and staff in Orangeburg.
