'Great Gatsby: The Mr. »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓcoronation

Junior Marcus Oliver was coronated as the 17thMr. Claflin.
The event began with a dance from the on-campus group P.U.L.S.E., a performance during which Oliver came from behind the curtains and joined in the dance.
A recent Mr. »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓhas passed away and was honored with a video in his memory. “I thought the tribute video was amazing,” senior Jalon Watson said.
2018 Mr. »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓEj Favors was honored and took his final walk. The class kings were also recognized and coronated.
The theme of coronation was the Great Gatsby and the class kings sported burgundy tuxedos and Mr. »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓwore an all-white tuxedo.
The night ended with President Dwaun Warmack crowning Oliver as the new Mr. »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓand Oliver taking his first official walk as Mr. Claflin.
